wilks & colleen medley.
chefs/owners

medley is owned and operated by chefs wilks and colleen medley. The Chef couple has worked under some of the greatest chefs in D.C. and L.A. honing their skills and unique style, influenced by locales both far and near. Their culinary journey began with Wilks attending the Culinary Institute of America in New York and Colleen studying at Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island. In 2015, after a decade of city-living, the couple moved to pursue their passions in a community they both love: Taos, New Mexico.

Molly Steinbach is a Certified Sommelier and Specialist of Wine who joined our team in 2015. She studied at the Elizabeth Bishop Wine Resource Center at Boston University, and moved to Taos in 2011. She writes a monthly wine column for the Taos News, and enjoys curating the selections of wine available both in Medley's restaurant and wine shop.

summer harthauer.
restaurant manager

summer grew up in colorado springs but spent many years in nashville, where she pursued a songwriting career. during her time in nashville she also spent plenty of time working in restaurants! In fact, summer's been working in the restaurant industry for over 15 years and has experience in front-of-house operations, bartending and management. before joining the medley team, summer worked at taos ski valley where she opened and managed 192 at the blake.

summer has recently obtained her introductory sommelier certification. being a part of the medley team is a dream, "because medley has always been my favorite restaurant in taos!" summer’s passions are good food, fine wine, skiing, paddle-boarding the rio grande and strumming her guitar.
